As part of National Volunteer Month, CYS invited our volunteer mediators, surrogate victim advocates, and translators to say a few words about why they contribute their time and talents to the program and what they feel is most meaningful about CYS’s impact on our Los Angeles County communities.
The swift response to our invitation and the variety of perspectives we received (some in dual languages) was another indication of how passionate and committed CYS volunteers are to the mission of youth-focused restorative justice.
