Through restorative justice, survivors of harm are given a voice. Through meaningful mediation, survivors of harm are able to heal and achieve a sense of closure.
Thank you to those of you who were able to support Assembly Bill 60 last week by sending in letters of support. This bill will increase public awareness of restorative justice programs, specifically for persons that have been harmed.
As of last week, Assembly Bill 60 has passed the Public Safety committee in the State Assembly. Currently, it's moving through the legislature with bipartisan support.
