"An Ounce of Prevention is Worth a Pound of Cure" - Chinese proverb Testimonials July 5, 2005 In 2002 , I was looking for a volunteer program where I could perform 100 hours of internship towards my degree in Social Work. I found CYS and was trained as a Family Conflict Mediator. I fell in love with not only the mediation process, but CYS and their vision as a whole. My experience helping families here and building relationships within CYS has been such a rewarding experience for me, that I decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding. It's been over 3 years since I completed my initial commitment of 100 hours and the reason I stayed at CYS is because I've seen the difference they make in the community.
